Snack time: Please remember to send in [[#|healthy snacks]]. No cookies or anything with nuts please.
Math: We have practiced patterns as well as writing a number 1 and 2. Keep practicing at home. Here is some math vocabulary that we will be working on within the next few weeks. (Same, different, tall, short, long, one, two, three, four, five).
    Word Wall: I am help
Please practice these at home with your child. They should be able to spell and read them. Lots of [[#|students]] are spelling am like ma. Our next two words that will be added are little and a.
Handwriting: We learned the correct way to make a lowercase a. We say “up, around, down” when forming this letter. Please keep practicing with your child on writing their name with a capital letter at the beginning and lowercase letters for the rest. We have also learned the lowercase f and will be working on the lowercase o this week.
Literacy: Please read the Family Times newsletter that comes home every week. It explains the exact skills we are working on each week. We have been working on rhyming, counting syllables, and this week we will start beginning sound discrimination.
Please contact me if you have any questions!!
